On Thursday 19th of October,
a turbine fires theme will be addressed where nuclear power station owners and operators, fire and emergency responders, experienced fire engineers, local and international regulators and insurers will present relevant papers.
Accommodation at Bangor is normally available at a quite cost effective rate, as the town supports various significant events such as ours that are regularly held at the university. It is however, recommended that potential delegates take early advantage of the accommodation that is available at the nearby Management Centre, which supports Bangor University. Many Bed and Breakfast accommodation facilities also exist, as do several key hotels. There are fantastic restaurants at Bangor and there is much to see before and after the colloquium or for partners throughout the three days.
Bookings are now open for delegates through the IFE website.
The aim is to provide this event in the most cost effective means possible to members, so sponsorship is actively being sought and so the SIG invites any members whose organisation may be able to assist.
